Regl+ is a privacy-first period and cycle tracker. Every prediction runs entirely on your device; your cycle data never leaves your phone.

• Next period, fertile window and ovulation day.

Cycle tracking data is among the most sensitive information on a phone. Two things are worth understanding: what predictions can and cannot tell you, and where the data actually goes. General information only — not medical advice.
Prediction is arithmetic on your history: the app averages your recent cycle lengths and projects forward. That is all it can do without physiological signals.
So accuracy depends entirely on regularity. Consistent cycles predict well; variable ones do not, and no app can fix that. Cycle length varies naturally with stress, illness, travel, sleep and exercise — a prediction is an estimate from past data, not a measurement of the present.
No. Calendar-based prediction is not a contraceptive method, and treating it as one is a well-documented way to get an unintended outcome. Fertility awareness methods that do work require daily physiological measurement and proper instruction — they are not what a calendar app does.
For contraception, talk to a healthcare professional about methods with actual effectiveness data.
This is the question worth asking of any tracker. Data held on your device is exposed only if the device is. Data synced to a company's servers is subject to that company's policy, its security, and whatever legal requests it receives.
Read what the app says it collects, and check whether it uses third-party analytics or advertising SDKs — those are separate recipients from the app maker. On-device storage removes the question entirely.
Symptoms and their timing, because patterns across months are hard to notice and easy to record. That history is genuinely useful in a medical appointment, where "a few months" becomes a specific record.
Changes worth raising with a clinician include cycles that become markedly irregular, unusually heavy bleeding, or severe pain — an app can show you the pattern, but interpreting it is a medical question.
