QR Code Generator — make a QR code in your browser
Turn a link, text, phone number or Wi-Fi password into a QR code. Download it as PNG or SVG.
What should the code contain?
The code is generated in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, which matters when the content is a Wi-Fi password or a private link.
Useful formats
A QR code carries plain text; what makes a phone act on it is the prefix.

Error correction, and why size changes
This generator uses error correction level M, which lets a reader recover the content when about 15% of the code is damaged, dirty or covered. More text means a larger grid: a 25 character link is a 25×25 grid, a 200 character one is 41×41. If you plan to print small, keep the content short — use a redirect link rather than a long URL with tracking parameters.
Printing that actually scans
Keep the quiet zone: the empty margin around the code is part of the code, and readers fail without it. Do not invert the colours; dark on light is what scanners expect. Do not stretch the image non-uniformly. For print, 2×2 cm is the practical minimum for a short link.
